Hon’ble MLA Inderwal Chairs Public Darbar at Mughalmaidan
Mughalmaidan, 22 September 2025: Hon’ble MLA Inderwal, Sh. Payare Lal Sharma, convened a Public Darbar at Mughalmaidan today—the first after the recent spell of devastating rainfall.
The primary objective of the Darbar was to listen to the grievances of the people who have suffered extensive losses due to heavy rains and landslides. Residents from Mughalmaidan and adjoining areas highlighted issues such as damage to homes, roads, crops, and disruption of essential services.
Sh. Sharma directed the district administration and concerned departments to expedite the assessment of losses and ensure immediate restoration of essential services including road connectivity, electricity, and drinking water supply. He assured the affected families of every possible support and emphasized that timely relief and rehabilitation remain the top priority.
The MLA also called upon officers to remain accessible to the public and to work in close coordination.
