A tragic road accident claimed the life of a local resident in the Tagood area of Mughalmaidan in Kishtwar district on Sunday, sending shockwaves through the local community.
According to official sources, the accident involved a scooty which met with a mishap under circumstances that are still under investigation. The impact of the accident was severe, resulting in fatal injuries to the rider, who died on the spot before any medical assistance could be provided.
The deceased has been identified as Rajender Kumar, son of Pyare Lal, a resident of Vasdevna Tagood, Mughalmaidan. Rajender Kumar was well known in the area, and news of his sudden demise has caused widespread grief among family members, friends, and neighbors.
Soon after receiving information, police personnel reached the accident site and conducted preliminary investigations. Necessary legal formalities were completed, and the body was subsequently handed over to the bereaved family for last rites.
