Ehsaas Foundation Extends Eid Wishes


Srinagar: Ehsaas Foundation, a Srinagar-based NGO, has extended heartfelt Eid-ul-Adha greetings to people across the country, emphasizing the spirit of sacrifice, compassion, and togetherness that defines the holy festival.

In an official message, the General Secretary of Ehsaas Foundation, Aabida Rashid, along with the entire staff of the organization, conveyed their warm wishes to people from all walks of life. “Eid-ul-Adha is not just about the act of sacrifice, but also about the values of empathy, unity, and sharing with those in need,” she said.

Ms Aabida highlighted the importance of using the occasion to reaffirm one’s commitment to humanitarian values. “As an organization rooted in compassion and service to humanity, Ehsaas Foundation continues to strive for a society where no one is left behind. Eid is a time to renew our pledge to help the underprivileged and spread joy among the vulnerable.”

The Foundation, which has been actively involved in various social welfare initiatives, also announced a special Eid outreach program aimed at distributing meat and essential supplies to hundreds of underprivileged families, orphans, and widows across several districts.b

“This Eid, let us all remember the essence of sacrifice and the importance of extending a helping hand,” Ms. Aabida urged. “Our mission at Ehsaas is to ensure that the joy of Eid reaches every home, especially those who need it the most.”

Ehsaas Foundation also called on citizens to celebrate Eid responsibly and to remember those affected by poverty, conflict, and displacement. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its humanitarian efforts with renewed dedication in the months to come.
