Traffic Update: LMVs Allowed on Kishtwar–Sinthan–Anantnag Route from May 6
Kishtwar, May 5: The Sub-Divisional Magistrate Chatroo has issued an order permitting the movement of Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) on the Kishtwar–Sinthan Road via Sinthan Top, following clearance from NHIDCL.
As per the order, vehicular movement from Kishtwar towards Anantnag will be allowed daily from 08:30 AM to 03:30 PM, starting May 6, 2026, strictly subject to fair weather conditions.
Authorities have emphasized strict adherence to the notified timing. No vehicle will be allowed to cross Parna Check Post, Chingam beyond the prescribed hours under any circumstances.
The order further directs the SHO Chatroo to ensure strict and uncompromising enforcement of these instructions.
Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly and follow all guidelines to avoid inconvenience.
