Her mother, Neelam Prasad, and her sister, Manu Shree, who works as a commandant in the CRPF, have always been there to support her. According to the information, she married in 2015 with Pranith Reddy. There is no information available about her children.

She started her education in Motihari, Bihar, and attended different schools before graduating from DAV Public School in Bokaro after finishing Class 12. After that, she moved to Delhi to prepare for competitive exams like the UPSC.

Tanushree became an Assistant Commandant in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in 2014. After that, she passed the exam for the Income Tax Department but decided not to join. Instead, she focused on preparing for the UPSC exams.
