Kishtwar: Senior journalist Asif Iqbal Naik has reportedly updated the biodata on his social media profiles after his page was blocked in India following his posts related to the Iran–Israel conflict.
According to reports, the page restriction came amid ongoing actions against several social media accounts over content linked to the escalating tensions between Iran and Israel.
Reacting to the development, Asif Iqbal Naik modified his social media bio and wrote that he has faced threats from abroad as well as pressure at home while continuing his journalism.
“A journalist receiving threats from Pakistan & Afghanistan, targeted by fringe at home and blocked by Govt of India for reporting truth on Iran vs Israel war,” he wrote in the updated profile description.
Despite the restriction, the senior journalist stated that his primary objective remains highlighting public and social issues through his reporting. He also urged viewers to follow his work on YouTube for continued updates.
