A Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist, Parminder Singh alias Pindi, has been extradited from the UAE by Punjab Police after being implicated in several violent crimes, including petrol bomb attacks and extortions. The extradition took place on Saturday as confirmed by Gaurav Yadav, Director General of Police, Punjab.
Pindi faces multiple charges linked to his criminal activities in Batala, Gurdaspur, where he allegedly collaborated with other foreign-based terrorists like Harwinder Singh alias Rinda and Happy Passia. His extradition stands as a significant development in India’s ongoing fight against terrorism.
In a detailed statement, Yadav mentioned that the extradition stemmed from a swift response to a Red Corner Notice (RCN) issued by Batala police. A specialized four-member team, under the leadership of a senior officer, commenced travels to Abu Dhabi on September 24.
Working in close conjunction with the Ministry of External Affairs and UAE authorities, the Punjab Police team coordinated efforts to legally facilitate Pindi’s return. After adhering to all necessary legal protocols, they successfully brought him back to Indian soil.
