Based on multiple news reports from August 2025, a high alert has been issued in Bihar following intelligence reports that three suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists from Pakistan have entered the state via the Nepal border.
The suspects are identified as:
* Hasnain Ali, resident of Rawalpindi
* Adil Hussain, resident of Umerkot
* Mohd Usman, resident of Bahawalpur
The Bihar Police Headquarters has reportedly issued a high alert and shared the names, photographs, and passport details of the three individuals with police in border districts. Motihari Police has announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for any information leading to their apprehension. The infiltration is a major security concern, especially as Bihar is preparing for assembly elections.
