Incessant rainfall  wreaked Havoc in the Mughalmaidan/Chatroo area.
Mughalmaidan. The   Incessant  rainfall during the last 24 hrs, has caused immense damage to the public property  in the Mughalmaidan  Chatroo area.  TRC Mughalmaidan ,a famous tourist destination renowned for its mesmerising lush green  gardens and fishpond,  has been  turned into barren land covered with deposts of silt and boulders splashed by tormented  river stream flowing ,above   alarming level. As per locals, this  intensity of damage and water levels in river nallahs has been unprecedented. Apart from this the newly constructed NH244  sank at Sangambati and Deodarmorh Mughalmaidan because of flood erosion . At various spots  embankments  of NH244 were damaged and road parapets were broken causing disruption to the flow of Traffic on NN244. Also, an advisory regarding closure of Nh244/ Sinthan road was passed by the administration keeping in view of public Safety.
