DC Kishtwar Disburses Compensation to 4 Families of Road Accident Victims; Cases Submitted by ARTO Kishtwar

In a considerate gesture to ease the hardship of grieving families, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar,Pankaj Kumar Sharma (JKAS), today disbursed a total of Rs. 3.75 lakh as compensation under the J&K Road Accident Victim Fund, based on the cases submitted by ARTO Kishtwar, Tasleem Wani (JKAS).

An amount of Rs. 1 lakh each was disbursed to the legal heirs of three deceased victims of road accidents & Rs 75,000 to a permanently disabled victim.

This government initiative aims to extend support to those affected by such tragic incidents and underscores its ongoing commitment to assist bereaved families.

The families of following road accident victims received compensation,
Nandani Devi D/o Kewal
Singh R/o Chitto Paddar,
Yasir Hussain S/o Mohammad
Hussain R/o Nagseni,Tahir Hussain
S/o Ranjha R/o Keshwan,
Khifitullah S/o Mohd hanief
R/o Chamoti (permanent disability).
This distribution marks an essential step in providing financial assistance and acknowledging the distress faced by the families of road accident victims.
