Rescue in Rajouri!  Indian Army, SDRF, Police Save Minor Boy from Flooded River

Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir – A 9-year-old boy was dramatically rescued on Wednesday after being trapped in a flooded river in Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir. The daring operation involved the Indian Army, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), J&K Police, and local divers, showcasing seamless coordination in the face of a critical situation.
The boy, who was reportedly grazing his cattle when flash floods struck, found himself stranded amidst the rapidly rising waters of the river near the Badala Mangh Bridge. Upon receiving information, a joint rescue effort was immediately launched.
The Indian Army deployed a helicopter to assist in the rescue. Alongside the Army, SDRF, J&K Police, and local divers worked tirelessly to reach the trapped child. The coordinated mission, which took three hours, successfully evacuated the boy from the perilous situation. He is reported to be safe and is currently under medical observation.
This heroic act comes amid heavy rainfall in the region, which has led to several incidents of flash floods and landslides across Jammu & Kashmir. Authorities have been urging residents to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
