Jagdeep Dhankhar has resigned from his post as the Vice President of India, effective immediately. He cited health concerns and the need to abide by medical advice as the reason for his decision.
In his resignation letter addressed to President Droupadi Murmu, Dhankhar stated that the decision was made “to prioritise health care.” He also expressed gratitude for the support received from the President, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Council of Ministers, and the Members of Parliament during his tenure.
