White Knight Corps Pays Last Tribute to Martyr Havildar Gajendra Singh
Kishtwar: The nation saluted a fallen hero as the White Knight Corps paid solemn tribute to Braveheart Havildar Gajendra Singh of the Special Forces, who made the supreme sacrifice while gallantly executing a Counter-Terrorism Operation in the Singpura area of Chatroo, Kishtwar, during the ongoing Operation TRASHI-I on the intervening night of January 18–19, 2026.
Displaying exceptional courage and unwavering resolve, Havildar Gajendra Singh led from the front amid intense firefight with terrorists hiding in the dense forest belt. Undeterred by extreme operational challenges, he continued the mission with exemplary bravery before laying down his life in the line of duty, upholding the highest traditions of the Indian Army.
Senior Army officers and fellow soldiers gathered to pay their last respects to the martyr, offering a poignant farewell filled with honour and pride. The White Knight Corps, in an official statement, lauded his indomitable spirit, selfless service, and supreme devotion to the nation, affirming that his sacrifice will continue to inspire generations of soldiers.
The Indian Army reiterated its unwavering commitment to neutralising terrorism and maintaining peace in the region, stating that the sacrifice of Havildar Gajendra Singh will not go in vain.
As the tricolour draped his mortal remains, the nation bowed in respect to a valiant son of the soil whose courage and sacrifice will forever be remembered.
