The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Directorate of School Education, Jammu, has issued an order regarding a change in school timings for all Government and Private (recognized) Schools up to Higher Secondary Level in the Winter Zone of Jammu Division.
As per the order dated 12-07-2025:
- Within Municipal Limits: Schools will observe timings from 9:00 A.M to 3:00 P.M.
- In Rural Areas: Schools will observe timings from 10:00 A.M to 04:00 P.M.
This order, bearing No: DSEJ/Gen/2025/36715-43, has been copied to various authorities for information and necessary action, including the Secretary to Government, School Education Department, Divisional Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners of various districts, and the Joint Director, Information Department for wide publicity.
