Following a report by The Alert Insider that surfaced on 07-08-2025 at around 3:11 PM highlighting the unauthorized closure of Government Primary School Treshi, the Office of the Zonal Education Officer, Inderwal, took immediate cognizance of the matter and issued a formal notice to the Headmaster concerned.

The report, which was widely circulated on social media, showed the school premises locked during working hours without any explanation. In response, the ZEO’s office issued a show-cause notice demanding an explanation within two days, warning that failure to respond would result in the withholding of the salary for August 2025 and further disciplinary action under J&K Civil Services Rules.
To ensure a thorough investigation, a two-member inquiry committee comprising Irshad Ahmed Sheikh (Master, MS Deller) and Zahoor Ahmed Malik (Master, MS Udil) has been constituted to submit their findings within three days.
