Road Transport Accident Report: Doda, Jammu & Kashmir.
Doda, Jammu & Kashmir – A tragic road accident involving vehicle number JKO6-4847 occurred on July 15, 2025, near Ponda on the Doda-Bharth road. The accident resulted in multiple casualties, with several individuals brought dead to the Associated Hospital, Government Medical College Doda, and others sustaining injuries, some critical enough to be referred to GMC Jammu.

Initial reports from various news sources indicate that the vehicle, identified as a tempo traveller, skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge. The accident occurred while the driver was negotiating a blind curve. Rescue operations were immediately launched by police, district administration, and local volunteers. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
