Kishtwar, November 11: Hon’ble Chairperson of the Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board, Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, visited Kishtwar and inaugurated the Waqf Relief & Rescue (WRR) Platform, aimed at strengthening humanitarian outreach and community welfare under the Waqf Board’s initiatives.

Dr. Andrabi was accompanied by Executive Officer Waqf Board Unit Kishtwar, Firdous Ahmad Bhawani, during the inauguration ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Andrabi emphasized that the J&K Waqf Board stands united by a “noble mission” and guided by “honesty and sincerity” in service. She described the team’s efforts as a “graceful reflection of purpose and purity”, underscoring that the Waqf’s mission is to remain a “true pillar of faith and service” for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Chairperson lauded the local Waqf officials for their dedicated service and reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to transparency, development, and social welfare across all districts.
