Kishtwar, January 28: A delegation of the District Bar Association Kishtwar, led by its President, Advocate Sheikh Nasir Hussain, held a meeting with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar Sh. Javed Iqbal to discuss several important matters.
During the meeting, the delegation, comprising prominent members of the Bar including Vice President Adv. Subash Sharma, Joint Secretary Adv. Suman Bhandari, Senior Member And former President of Bar Adv. O. P. Parihar and Adv. Rajesh Sharma raised significant concerns related to the security of advocates and the smooth functioning of the judicial system. The delegation emphasized the need for enhanced security arrangements in and around the court premises to ensure a safe and conducive environment for legal practitioners and litigants.
The issue of hassle-free movement of vehicles and proper parking arrangements outside the court premises was also raised, stressing the importance of organized traffic management to avoid congestion and ensure smooth access for advocates and visitors.
Other pressing issues concerning the legal fraternity and the general public were also discussed, with the delegation urging the SSP to address them on priority.
The SSP assured the delegation of full cooperation and committed to resolving the issues raised during the discussion.
The Bar Association Kishtwar expressed its gratitude to the SSP for his positive response and reaffirmed its commitment to working in collaboration with the administration for the welfare of the legal community and the public at large.
