Amit Shah, CM Omar Abdullah Review Development Projects in Srinagar
Srinagar, Apr 8, :Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday held a high-level review meeting at Raj Bhavan, Srinagar, to assess the progress of key development projects across the Union Territory.
The meeting, attended by top bureaucrats including Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, focused on expediting infrastructure work, improving public services, and ensuring transparency in implementation.
Amit Shah stressed the need for grassroots-level development and accountability, while Omar Abdullah called for inclusive growth and faster delivery on public expectations.
Updates were shared on major projects under Jal Jeevan Mission, PMGSY, Smart City initiatives, and improvements in health, education, and road connectivity. Both leaders also underlined the importance of peace and communal harmony to sustain economic progress.
