Missing 19-Year-Old Girl Traced Safely by Kishtwar Police, Handed Over to Family After Counselling

Kishtwar: Kishtwar Police successfully traced a 19-year-old girl in 24hrs who had been reported missing from the Symbol area of Chatroo, bringing relief to her family.
The girl has been identified as (Name Withheld) age 19 years, resident of Symbol. After her disappearance was reported, a missing report was entered in the Daily Diary (DD) of Police Station Chatroo, following which police initiated efforts to ascertain her whereabouts.
The search operation was carried out under the directions of SSP Kishtwar Naresh Singh, while the overall efforts were undertaken under the supervision of SDPO Dachhan Nitish Sharma. SHO Police Station Chatroo Rishi Kumar personally coordinated the search efforts and remained closely associated with the process of tracing the missing girl.
During sustained search efforts, Chatroo Police, with the assistance of Kishtwar Police, succeeded in tracing the girl from an area near Symbol, Chatroo. She was found along with a boy identified as *** Hussain.
Following her recovery, both individuals were brought to Police Station Chatroo, where counselling was conducted in the presence of representatives from the village. Police counselled both individuals and addressed the matter in a peaceful and responsible manner.
After completion of the necessary formalities and counselling, the girl was handed over safely to her legal heirs/family members.
The timely response by the police team ensured the safe tracing of the missing girl and her reunion with her family. The coordinated efforts under the direction of SSP Kishtwar Naresh Singh, supervision of SDPO Dachhan Nitish Sharma, and the prompt action of SHO Chatroo Rishi Kumar played an important role in the successful tracing of the girl.
The incident once again highlights the importance of timely reporting of missing persons and the prompt response of the police in ensuring their safe recovery.
