AAP Takes Strict Action: Party Membership of Aaqib Shah Terminated with Immediate Effect
In a major political development, the Aam Aadmi Party leadership in Jammu and Kashmir has taken strict disciplinary action by terminating the primary membership of Aaqib Shah with immediate effect.
According to an official order issued by Observer Inderwal Constituency Shadilal Sharma, Aaqib Shah was earlier asked to submit a written explanation regarding certain allegations raised against him. However, instead of responding through the party’s internal channels, he allegedly chose to take the matter to social media, which the party termed a serious violation of discipline.
The letter states that despite repeated notices and personal advice from senior leadership, no satisfactory response was received from Shah. The party leadership viewed the conduct as a clear breach of internal accountability and party norms.
After reviewing the matter and with the approval of the Party Prabhari and senior leadership, the party decided to terminate his membership immediately, removing him from the primary membership of the party.
The order further clarifies that from now onwards, Aaqib Shah cannot represent the party, act on its behalf, or use the party’s name in any manner.
This sudden move has sparked political discussions in the region, with many observers seeing it as a strong message from the party leadership on discipline and internal conduct.
