Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah extended their warm New Year 2026 greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They called for collective efforts towards happiness, prosperity, and development in the region.
In his message, LG Manoj Sinha expressed that the New Year symbolizes renewed hopes and opportunities. He emphasized the need for unity among citizens, urging them to work collectively to elevate Jammu and Kashmir to new heights of development. He stated, “Let us dedicate ourselves to the welfare of our nation, facing future challenges with unity and determination.” Sinha prayed that the year ahead would bring joy and abundance for all.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, in his New Year message, echoed sentiments of optimism and harmony. He addressed the people, wishing them peace, prosperity, and good health for 2026. According to Abdullah, “This occasion offers us a chance to reflect on our shared aspirations.”
The Chief Minister further expressed hope that 2026 would be marked by opportunities for progress across Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted the importance of reaffirming collective commitment to building a more inclusive and prosperous region. Abdullah encouraged citizens, particularly the youth, to contribute positively towards peace, unity, and sustainable growth.
