35-40 Vehicles Stranded at Sinthan Top Safely Rescued
Kishtwar/Anantnag: A joint rescue operation by the teams of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) from Kishtwar and Anantnag, along with the administrations of Kishtwar and Anantnag, has successfully rescued approximately 35 to 40 vehicles that were stranded at Sinthan Top due to snowfall.
Following reports of vehicles being stuck due to the heavy snowfall that had blocked the road at Sinthan Top, the NHIDCL and the administrations of both districts promptly took action and dispatched rescue teams.
Despite the challenging conditions, the joint rescue teams made continuous efforts and reached all the stranded vehicles, safely evacuating all the passengers. According to news reports, all the passengers are safe and have been sent towards their respective destinations.
This timely action by the administration and NHIDCL is being widely appreciated by the citizens.
